Checked on 21 October 2026 against Update 6.0 (build 0.10.0.653173) [S1]. That build is the one named in the Update 6.0 patch post [S8]. The percentages are Steam's global unlock rates for The Last Caretaker on that day [S1]. They change over time.

Short answer. The game has 15 Steam achievements [S2]. The current Steam list marks none of them as hidden [S1]. The commonest is Apprentice caretaker (reach player level 5), held by 80.8 percent of players [S1]. The rarest is Five in the Quiet (sink 5 shots in a row on the empty court), held by 1.2 percent [S1]. Next come Mother Under the Sea at 2.9 percent and Wealth Without Witness at 4.6 percent [S1].

Neoseeker says most achievements "you can earn naturally as you progress through the game" [S19]. For the first nine, the sources read for this page have nothing beyond Steam's descriptions. They don't say what counts as one of the "100 things" [S1] or which item triggers the artifact achievement. "Artifact" is also an item rarity in this game; see the artifacts page. Five in the Quiet

Steam: "Sink 5 shots in a row on the empty court." [S1] Update 01 added a "Basketball mini-game in the hangar." [S4]

The one how-to in the forum is from Zweirt (15 October 2026, 01:08 UTC, during the Update 6.0 public beta): "just stand where the mark is in the photo and throw the ball aligned with the line." [S9] The two screenshots linked in the post show where the mark is; they could not be viewed. That thread has no replies.

Older posts, from before Update 6.0, are in the Steam thread Help, Achievements [S21]:

  • Cxyman (29 December 2025): "my 5 shots in a row worked. Did mine two days ago at central warehouse alpha." [S21]
  • Mariano (21 December 2025) wrote of "problems with shooting 5 shots in a row" [S21]. On 11 January 2026 Mariano wrote that the basket achievement stood at "2 out of 5" [S21].
  • The Igmo (8 January 2026) says to throw the ball (right click, for them) and to "allow the ball to hit the ground after each" shot. The same post adds "I dont know if the location matters, but I completed it at the warehouse." [S21]

Secret of the Maze

Steam: "Find the hidden room inside the Cube Room Maze." [S1] Update 02 added a location called "The Maze (Transposium)" [S5]. The second video below is an episode of a Transposium playthrough [S17]. For the route, see the Transposium quest page.

Two videos show the same route: light all three lights of the three-light door puzzle, then walk into the room.

  • StormkilGaming says at [0:35] that the puzzle is not worth much, but "you need it if you want to get the" achievement. At [3:21] the video says that after solving it "you come in here, you'll get the" achievement and some robots [S16].
  • In EP 31 of another series, the player reaches the room at [46:09] once "three lights are lit up." At [46:20] they had "missed one of the lights." the first time. At [46:31] they read the description out on entry [S17].

Update 5.5 RC2: "Fixed the Maze achievement trigger." [S7]

Mother Under the Sea

Steam: "Find Mother hidden below the waves." [S1] Players link the two: one forum thread's title pairs the Mother quest with the Mother Under the Sea achievement [S14], and a video is titled as a guide to finding Mother Under The Sea and getting its Steam reward [S20].

Two player routes are reported: a forum thread started on 9 February 2026 [S14] and a video (details below). The forum thread:

  • The original poster (9 February 2026, 05:56 UTC) said they found "the hidden entrance for the potential" Mother at the basketball area in the starting base. They then died 10 times going down [S14]. Note the word "potential": they were not sure.
  • Will_fires_back: "You'll need to max out the pressure enhancement to reach a lot of the places later on." [S14] That was general advice, not specific to this achievement.
  • The original poster, next day: they nearly maxed Pressure and said "i can use force injector at the batteries to bruteforce it for now" [S14].

The video is by Red Lichtie Games, uploaded 1 March 2026. It says to follow a pipe: "it's the only pipe that actually goes down to the bottom of the ocean." [S22] It says damage starts at 100 m and the dive reaches 200 m: "We will start taking some damage after two after 100 m down, but this will take us all the way right down to 200 m." [S22] The player says people on Reddit tried "like 40 times to get this achievement and fail completely" [S22]. Their own run: "And it took us 19 times." [S22] The video places its own unlock at "Sanctuary Doc 37 and that's where I've achieved mine." [S22]

The two sources are not reconciled here. A separate video by Régis Voiclair, uploaded 12 February 2026 and titled as a guide to finding Mother Under The Sea, has no captions in the data and its content was not viewed, so no route is summarised here. Its description reads "As i've already done this mission, the Steam success dont popup on the screen." [S20] For scale, one guide lists Pressure as "10 m with no points, 110 m at level 100." [S18]. The only depth given for Mother is the 200 m in the Red Lichtie Games video above [S22].

StormkilGaming's Mother video says at [4:46]–[4:50] that the mission is "for an achievement", but "my achievement never went off." The video says it was repeated a few times [S15]. It doesn't say which achievement was meant, and an achievement-trigger fix landed in Update 5.5 [S7].

Wealth Without Witness

Steam: "Send 100 Survival Dollar hoards into space." [S1]

The sources below differ on what counts, and this page does not choose between them. In date order:

  • MegaMind (10 January 2026): "I sent several thousand dollars into space, nothing." [S21] That post is from before Update 5.5.
  • Trustee Nonebar Gaming video (24 January 2026) asks whether "Continental Reserve notes" count toward the total. After launch the player says: "So, it did count those continental notes towards my $100." [S23] The player also says the game "actually goes and keeps track of it for you" [S23]. They say 39 were already sent up before that launch [S23]. In that video the total adds up across launches.

In the Steam thread Wealth Without Witness Achievement [S11]:

  • Tisr 29 (28 September 2026, 00:26 UTC) asked "is it patched or do i just drop them on the floor of the rocket or how does it work." [S11]
  • Dirtyshadow (00:44 UTC) replied that they did it the week before, and that "Money goes into storage" [S11]. Dirtyshadow added that it was the older dollars, not the newer money [S11].
  • Tisr 29 (14 October 2026, 16:59 UTC, during the Update 6.0 public beta) wrote: "I did it with both" [S11].

Cash also has other uses. Update 01 added a "Money as trash" resource loop [S4]. Cmdr. Tyrael says at [13:51]–[13:56] that "the cash has to be shredded" for fabric, so the achievement has to wait [S12]. Update 5.5 "Made hidden cash easier to collect in Habitat 03." [S7]

Peaceful Passenger

Steam: "Send a teddy to orbit." [S1] An EP27 gameplay video names it at [22:04] alongside the money one: "teddy bear into space and we've got to" send money [S13].

Groundhog

Steam: "Die 30 times" [S1]. In the Steam thread Early game is way way too hard [S10]:

  • Hedders (24 December 2025, 08:41 UTC): "i have dies 9 times in 280 hours" [S10].
  • blastingweevil (20 December 2025): "i had to Try and die for the die 30 times achievement" [S10].

In the Help, Achievements thread, Arthradax wrote on 21 December 2025: "I can confirm Groundhog achi now works" [S21]. hozz1235 (10 January 2026): "Groundhog is tracking for me 8/30. All my deaths are from falls." [S21] Earlier, NoBeardNoGlory (29 November 2025) wrote: "I just killed myself 30 times. I did not acquire the achievement." [S21]
